Full Day Falconry Experience at the Castle of Brecon
This day will give the participant an insight into flying, basic training and keeping of birds of prey at the Brecon Castle grounds and the mid wales countryside.
During the day you will be given a basic introduction to handling and flying birds of prey and an insight into keeping and training them., You will observe the basic training of a falcon followed by the free flight of a fully trained falcon.
The afternoon will be spent learning to fly hawks in the castle grounds progressing to two hours walking over stunning mid-Wales hillside during which you will be free flying two Harris hawks.
The day will conclude with feeding and preparing the hawks for the night. Refreshments a light lunch and an evening meal are provided.
