Castle Banquets, Luncheons and Dinners
The Castle at Brecon is the ideal place for a formal luncheon, dinner or banquet. Once a coaching inn it grew out of the castle ruins and in 1809 became the first ‘modern’ hotel in Wales.
Come and visit us, look around the hotel at the facilities and discuss your requirements with the Manager:
- Make a verbal booking, then confirm in writing within seven days.
- A deposit is required upon booking, amount depending on size of booking.
- A confirmation letter will be sent to you within seven days.
- A minimum of 14 days prior to the event, final numbers, menu choices and any dietary requirements will be needed in writing.
- Any decrease in numbers, within seven days of the event will be charged at full rate.
The Castle retains all the warmth and character of a coaching inn. The Ballroom with the remains of the great hall of the castle attached is undoubtedly the most attractive and historic venue in Brecon. The Beacons dominate the town and provide a picturesque backdrop to ballroom, gardens, restaurant and bar. There are four venues (capacity depends on layout)...
