Brecon Castle, Castle Square, Brecon, South Wales
Brecon Castle is a coaching inn of great charm and character, built around the medieval Great Hall and Tower of Brecon Castle. It is conveniently located in the centre of the historic Georgian town of Brecon, but retains the look and feel of a country house hotel with a quiet location, extensive grounds, riverside gardens and beautiful views all around to the Brecon Beacon mountains.
With 43 comfortable double or twin bedrooms and an excellent pub and restaurant, this is a fine base for enjoying the Brecon Beacons national park. Its five function rooms for 10 up to 160 are ideal for intimate dinners or meetings, banquets, weddings, exhibitions and conferences.
An exciting programme of redevelopment begun in 2007 and now nearing completion is restoring Wale's oldest hotel to its former glory.
